The Reef Resort, Taupo

I had a lovely one-night stay here while touring the North Island. The room was spacious, featuring a kitchen area and a comfortable bed, although the shower over the bath wasn't my favorite. The service was warm and helpful, and I truly appreciated the proximity to the stunning lake, though I found the walk to the center a bit long. Overall, it was a good value for money and a nice place to relax.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at this resort. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with gorgeous views of the lake. The amenities, including the hot pools, were a real highlight for me. The only downside was that the location was slightly out of the main township, which might not suit everyone's preference, but the serene environment made up for it.
